Privacy and cookies (Cloud)

Where to read SlugBase Cloud legal documents and how cookie preferences relate to analytics and error reporting.

Cloud vs self-hosted: This page describes the hosted product at slugbase.app. In-app behavior shared with core is documented in the Self-hosted guides unless this page says otherwise.

The full Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Imprint for the hosted service are published on the same site as the product. Open them here (they open in the marketing shell, not inside /app):

Cloud legal pages apply to SlugBase Cloud at slugbase.app. When you self-host, data processing is under your infrastructure and policies; see self-hosted docs for product behavior, not Cloud legal text.

This documentation does not reproduce those agreements; use the links above for exact wording.

The Cloud site shows Cookie preferences (cookieConsent copy). In summary:

  • Strictly necessary cookies are always on (session, authentication, security).
  • If you opt in to Analytics, the product may load Umami (usage analytics) and Sentry (error reporting) as described in the consent UI.
  • Functional and Marketing categories are described as available for future use; you can change choices anytime (Manage preferences).

For how personal data is processed when you use the hosted service, rely on the Privacy Policy.
