Sign up and login (Cloud)
Create a SlugBase Cloud account with email and password, verify your email, log in, and reset a forgotten password.
Cloud vs self-hosted: This page describes the hosted product at slugbase.app. In-app behavior shared with core is documented in the Self-hosted guides unless this page says otherwise.
What you need
An email address you can access and a password of at least 8 characters. Cloud sign-up uses email and password only (there is no self-hosted-style initial Setup wizard; the server reports the system as already initialized for Cloud).
Sign up
Open the sign-up page
Go to slugbase.app and choose Sign up, or open https://slugbase.app/app/signup directly.
Fill the form
Enter Email, Name, Password, and Confirm password. The in-app hint matches the product copy: passwords need at least 8 characters.
Submit and verify email
Choose Sign up. You should see Check your email and a message that a verification link was sent. Open the link in the email, then you can log in.
Log in
Open login
Use Log in from the marketing site or go to https://slugbase.app/app/login.
Enter credentials
Enter Email and Password, then sign in. If your email is not verified yet, the app shows a message to verify first (see below).
If you must verify email before logging in
When the server requires verification, you may be redirected to a Verify your email flow (/app/verify-email-required). There you can Resend verification email and optionally correct a typo in your email address; the copy explains that a new link is sent to the updated address when you change it.
Forgot password
Use Forgot password? on the login page to start a reset flow (/app/reset-password or /app/password-reset). Complete the steps in the email the service sends you.
